Mrs Feilds smiled and said, “I’ll take care of it after lunch.
After I call, we’ll get you moved into the room at the end of the hall.”
“Moved in?!”, Theodore said with an expression of surprised dismay.
“Why can’t I just stay in my old room back at my house?”
Mrs. Feilds put her hand on his arm and said gently,
“Theodore, the house will have to be sold.
Don’t worry, there’s plenty of room for your things here.
You won’t have to get rid of anything, I promise.”
“Sold?
What do you mean the house will have to be sold?
That’s my house!”, he cried.
Mrs Feilds gripped his arm in her hand and said,
“Theodore, running a house takes time and money.
With your parents gone, someone will have to pay for the upkeep of the house.
